Hello everyone Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.  I hope everyone that attended this years Christmas Party had a great time.  Many of you asked about the pictures the DJ was taking and showing on the big screen, Ralo (DJ) makes these CD's for a fee of ten dollars each.  I have 5 available for purchase, please let me know if you want me to reserve one of these for you.  First come first serve however, I am certain I can get more copies made if necessary.

 

Hello CCO members this is another huge day in our clubs 20 year history. The CCO Web Store is now open for business.  There are a couple of things you must recognize.

• The Store is managed and operated by Embroidery Works
• All orders will have the 2012 CCO Logo Embroidered on the garment
• CCO gains no monetary value "our cost is your cost"
• CCO cannot be held responsible for order mistakes
• Every order is individually managed
• They do not inventory every item and color so it creates a short lead time
• All discrepancies must be directed to Embroidery Works

There is a large selection of mens and women shirts and tank tops, we will be adding more items this spring and summer.  I hope everyone takes advantage of this new site since we have been able to launch it before the holidays

NOVEMBER 19th, 2011
Folks this will be our second visit to Bob Shearer "Classic Car Collection".  This is a private collection and not everyone gets this opportunity to view these cars.  Bob has hundreds of restored and survivor cars on display.  I was very impressed with his collection of MOPARS and that he walks with our group and tells the story behind every beauty!  We will be departing from the Lake Mary Rest Stop East Bound at 9:30am.  For those of you that want to join the Saturday Breakfast Group we will be dining at Nicks Family Restaurant beginning at 8am then caravanning to the departure point.  Later that afternoon CCO will re-group for an early dinner upon return to Orlando.

Hello CCO members, this week I was contacted by an executive at Daytona International Speedway; They are celebrating the 50th ROLEX 24 this January 28-29 2012 and have provided CCO with a great offer. They are trying to make it a special event due to it being the 50th Rolex 24 and that includes having a strong showing in our car corrals.  They would love to have any members of the Corvette Club of Orlando come to the Rolex 24.  It should be a very exciting event, and they are providing a great offer for Corvette owners to come display their cars in the car corral and then also enjoy the race.  

For $45 you will receive a parking spot in our corral area, a two day ticket to the Rolex 24 with infield and garage access, and a commemorative 50th Rolex 24 hat with the Corvette logo on it.

 Hey again CCO members, The Motor Trend International Car Show held each year at the Orange County Convention Center has invited our Corvette Club to display our Corvettes.  We have approximately 20 + cars slots to fill and I am taking your reservation directly.  To learn more go the the CCO web calendar section for the dates 11/24-27/11.  It is my goal to obtain several Corvettes from each era C-1 thru C-6, I would like to see some unique Zo6's and we have several in our club!, a ZR1 (come on Jim!), any and all Callaway Editions, a Lingenfelter a few anniversary additions and a couple new grand sports!  If it's special we want it and if it's your daily driver we need it so please plan to participate.  We will get owners free daily admission for themselves and spouse.  The cars look awesome under the lights in this exhibit hall, check the web past events for photos from 2008.  Email me at mrnostro@gmail.com or register at the meeting on October 19th.  Time is limited, do it today!
